Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political adviser who served as the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 222. As a member of Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011); White House deputy director(2009-2011); spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015 and White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki was a political contributor to CNN from 2017 until 2020. Psaki's career began in 2001 when she began working on behalf of the reelection campaigns for Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrats for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was then named as the deputy press secretary for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. From 2005 to 2006, Psaki served as communications director for U.S. representative Joseph Crowley as well as the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned in 2012 to political communication serving as the press secretary of President Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign. 20 Psaki quit as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11, 2013. She was hired by the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21However, Josh Earnest took his place on May 30, 2014. In the year 2015, she returned to the White House as communications director and remained until the close of the Obama administration.
